TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
Safety
Here is the thing that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into how you think about it.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
