Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
